Ajujaht - Mõte muuta maailma

Welcome

Ajujaht (Brainhunt) is a start-up competition for young entrepreneurs creating innovative businesses.

The competition is open for teams of 1-7 members of which 50% must have Estonian residency and age between 17 - 35. Teams submit their business ideas online at www.ajujaht.ee describing the idea, value, client, market, team and finances. The ideas are evaluated by renown businessmen creating a feedback value for the participants.

The best 20 ideas enter a development programme carried out over 3 months covering all subjects necessary for young entrepreneurs. In addition to the training sessions each team is assigned a mentor to support the teams in their business planning.

The development programme concludes with the submission of business plans. The jury evaluates both business plans and presentation. The best plans take a cut in the prize fund of 95 000 EUR and the possibility to enter a 1-year support programme for executing their business plan.

The competition is carried out under the Enterprise Estonia awareness programme co-funded by the European Social fund. The 95 000 EUR prize fund for 2012 is raised from successful entrepreneurs and organisations: SEB, ABB, Webmedia, Skype, NASDAQ OMX, Technopolis Ülemiste, Tehnopol, British Council, Kredex, Tervise Paradiis, Foundation Heategu, Avision, Apple & IM computers, MarkIT, Tallinn and Tartu city.

The competition is organised by BDA Consulting, Invent Baltics and Connect Estonia.
